Intimacy of Paradise, published by Verlag für moderne Kunst, in 2021, received silver in the German Photo Book Prize 2021/2022 (Deutscher Fotobuchpreis, Germany).

The German Photo Book Award is a competition in which a jury selects the best photo books in the German-speaking world. It was founded in 1975 as the Kodak Photo Book Prize in cooperation with the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels and the Landesgewerbeamt Stuttgart and was held annually under this name until 2003. Since 2003 and after the withdrawal of Kodak AG as a sponsor and name giver, the prize has continued under the name “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis.” Prizes are awarded for special achievements by authors, photographers, and publishers in the field of photo books.
